Visual and sound inspiration : Animation Music Video

I’am currently studying Animation music video and Movie title as an inspiration  to learn how Visual and Sound are professionally synchronize. Here’re the sources.

The Japanese Popstars – Let Go

Moray McLaren – We Got Time

All the animations were created, drawn and coloured by the director David Wilson. I really like what he do! It’s my all time fevorite 🙂

Using both praxinoscopes and the technique of matching up the frame rate of the spinning record to that of the camera, no computer super-imposing was used; what you see is what rolled off the camera. The transitions between each section of animation was created by simply cutting or wiping between the bits of footage.

here’s a making of, the director shared how it’s made.

Reverse time lapse this is so conceptual

This is so complicated for the sequence that goes simultaneously with next line, the same sequence run accordingly create ‘Moving textile’.

Tahiti 80 – Darlin’ (Adam & Eve Song)

Bottom of the River – The Tom Fun Orchestra

Grizzly Bear – Ready, Able

Inspired me when I was young,

Gorillaz – Feel Good Inc.

They are my favorite characters 😀

How unique and eccentric it was by the time I first saw them! I was so young!

Incubus – Dig

This site is very inspiring, everyone should check this out 😀
